Filter System

Your furnace has a fan circulating air throughout your spaces, which passes through one or more filters before being heated. These filters need to be changed at regular intervals (at least once, annually) to keep the system working properly.

Blower

If the filters become clogged with dust, dirt, pet hair, pollen and other allergens and debris, the blower motor can become overheated. When this happens, the fan motor will overheat and can catch fire, blowing smoke into the house.
